Welcome to Victoria Arabians – the place where function is a beautiful thing. Owned by Michelle Watson and Cliff McCurdy, Victoria Arabians is located on 82 acres of lush rolling pastures, surrounded by wooden fences, forest and stately live oak trees. The farm is approximately 30 minutes from Gainesville (GNV) Regional Airport and approximately 1.5 hours from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tampa International Airport (TPA). And, only 14 miles from the World Equestrian Center (WEC) in Ocala.
Victoria Arabians is home to some of the best English Performance producing horses in the world. We have produced a number of Regional and National Champions, including, Riptide VA, Man About Vegaz VA, Moon N Sun VA, Best of Baske VA, Madam Motion VA, Neviano VA, Momentum VA, Reaching Nirvana VA, Noble Sun VA. Noble Shoc VA and many more – just look for the VA at the end of the name. We strive to produce beautiful, functional horses which will provide years of enjoyment for both owners and breeders alike. Our farm with it’s tranquil, rolling pastures is the perfect place to breed and raise the Arabian horse. Our commitment to the Arabian horse has blessed us with great horses and lifelong friendships.
It all started when Michelle purchased her first Arabian in March of 1991. A five year old bay stallion – Qazaan. Qazaan was initially shown by Michelle in halter and then went on to be shown by Michelle in Western Pleasure, Reining and Trail. Michelle went from owning one Arabian to owning a few and then pursued her dream of building her own farm – Victoria Arabians in Enfield, CT.
In February of 1996 at the Scottsdale Arabian show, Michelle met Sheila Varian and the breeding program took off on a new level. Sheila became Michelle’s mentor as a breeder and overall horse woman. Over the next few years, Victoria Arabians acquired from Varian Arabians some of their foundation horses: Cameo Bey V, Miz Margeaux V, Miz Marguerita V, Miz Miranda V, Balquelotta V, Mariotta V, Ramona V, Bounce V and Seventh Son V. The English Pleasure breeding program began. Following the move, to Florida with Cliff McCurdy in the Fall of 2003, Victoria Arabians continued the development of their breeding program even further by enhancing the English breeding program. Now Victoria Arabians, LLC is known world wide for their English horses and beautiful halter horses.
